One of Warwick’s most popular summer camps… and we’ve got the little ones covered, too!
If rock climbing, pirate ships, tug of war over a giant mud pit, petting zoos, horseback riding, talent shows, boat rides on the bay, in-ground pools, in- and out-of-state field trips to the best places in New England sound like a blast, then you have to check out our Summer Camp at Family Tree!
Summer 2018 is Coming Soon!
Registration opens March 1 for summer camp. We always fill up, so plan to register before June 1 to ensure your space.
2017 Summer Camp Theme Weeks
|June 26th – 30th||July 3rd – 7th||July 10th – 14th||July 17th – 21st||July 24th – 28th|
We all love being outside…so let’s start the summer off right! Campers will play games, go Geocaching, swim, and more! Remember to bring your sunscreen and water bottle as we spend our days enjoying outdoor activities.
|Party in the USA|
Miley Cyrus said it best: “There’s a party in the USA!” and A Family Tree is no exception. Campers will celebrate our country’s independence by showing pride in the Red, White, and Blue. We will enjoy classic American food and music at our All American BBQ. Play fun games like RWB streamer relay, balloon stomp, and patriotic jeopardy.
|Space is the Place|
Traveling to outer space is no longer a dream…this week it is an obtainable adventure! Campers can enjoy turning the center into a planetarium by creating our solar system, planets, comets and more. Children will make flying saucers and become aliens of the cute kind. One small step for campers but one great leap for A Family Tree.
|Mystery and Exploration|
Join us for A Family Tree mystery week as we hunt for treasures Geocaching at City Park and try to escape the Riddle Room! Be ready to solve the mystery of which a staff member “did it” in our A Family Tree Clue Game!
|New England Adventures
Let’s explore all that Southern New England has to offer! Campers will celebrate the diversity and culture of several great destinations. Campers will be able to explore history, art, and games that are true to the traditions and culture of Southern New England.

|Trash to Treasure|
Most artists use paint, charcoal, or pencils for their masterpieces. At A Family Tree we will turn recycled items into our treasures! Join us this week to create your own life-sized robot and more!
|Pay it Forward|
A Family Tree loves their community! Join us for a week of projects that we will do to benefit our city and the people who live here! At the end of the week we will “party” at the Seekonk Grand Prix to celebrate all our hard work!
|Ripples and Waves|
Here at A Family Tree, we don’t let the scorching summer sun get us down. This week, campers will beat the heat with all kinds of water games from a water balloon toss to a hose water fight and pool games. These activities are sure to keep them sopping wet, cooled off, and dripping with fun!
|Wild, Wild West|
This is your week to be a cowboy/cowgirl! Learn to lasso a “cow,” play old west games, and eat cowboy chow! Children will pitch tents, have a campfire, and make s’mores.
|Earth, Wind & Fire
This week at A Family Tree we will discover the magic of science. Join us as we explore Mystic Seaport to see how our forefathers used wind to sail their ships. There will also be a visit from POW Science with exciting experiments!
Field trips and special events will be posted on location.
