Infant and Toddler Locations
Infant and Toddler Curriculum
Our infant and toddler program features a cozy, warm, and nurturing environment.
Our teaching staff includes a lead teacher with her BA in Infant and Toddler concentration. We employee two registered nurses. Although this is no longer a requirement of DCYF, we feel it is an important part of our program, and parents of young children agree. Our infant staff have many years of experience. They are patient, kind, loving and nurturing, and have been hand selected to care for our youngest of children.
Our infant and toddler program curriculum is focused on:
- fine motor skills
- gross motor skills
- social development
- language development
- emotional development
- cognitive development
We provide individualized care, based on the needs of the child.
Family Tree program now hosts three infant rooms, including a young infant room, older infant room and mixed aged infant room serving older and younger infants. Toddler rooms include two young toddlers rooms and two transition classrooms, where children are potty trained and get ready to enter the pre-K classrooms.
Our small classrooms have a maximum group size of 8 children for the infant rooms and 12 children for the toddler rooms.
Our infant and toddler rooms are currently full. You can, however, be on our wait list. If you’d like your children to be part of our program, we recommend calling or scheduling a tour at least two months in advance.
